Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a course with Learn with Lisa. By making a booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the following terms.

 

1. Course Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit of the total course fee is required to secure your course date.

​

The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before your scheduled course date.

Your course place and date are only confirmed once the required deposit has been received.

​

If the remaining balance is not received by the payment deadline, Learn with Lisa reserves the right to cancel the booking and make the course date available to another student.

​

2. Cancellation & Changing Your Course Date

If you need to cancel or change your course date, a minimum of 14 days' notice is required.

​

Requests made with less than 14 days' notice may result in the loss of your payment, as the course date and teaching time have been reserved specifically for you.

​

Learn with Lisa will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests to move course dates where possible, subject to availability.

​

3. Non-Attendance

If you fail to attend your booked course without providing prior notice, your booking will be treated as a non-attendance and payments made will be forfeited.

​

A new course date may require a new booking and payment.

​

4. Commitment to the Course

All courses are delivered on a personalised 1:1 basis, with the full course duration reserved exclusively for each student.

​

Students are responsible for ensuring they can commit to the full duration of their chosen course before booking.

​

Arriving late may reduce the practical teaching time available and could affect your ability to complete all course content.

​

5. Age Requirement

Learn with Lisa courses are available to students aged 16 years and over.

By booking, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement.

​

6. Practical Training

Practical elements may include working on a demonstration hand and/or practising on yourself, depending on the course content.

​

Students are responsible for following all instructions and guidance provided throughout their practical training.

​

7. Course Completion & Certification

Successful completion of a Learn with Lisa course requires full participation in the training and completion of all required learning and practical elements.

Where case studies are required, students must complete and submit these following their training.

Accredited certification will only be issued once:

• The course has been completed satisfactorily.

• All required case studies have been completed.

• Case studies have been submitted and approved by Learn with Lisa.

• The course fee has been paid in full.

Attending the practical training day alone does not automatically guarantee certification where assessments, case studies or payments remain outstanding.

​

8. Course Materials & Manuals

All course manuals, learning materials, worksheets and resources provided by Learn with Lisa are intended for the student's personal educational use only.

​

These materials remain the intellectual property of Learn with Lisa and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, resold or used to create teaching materials or courses without prior written permission.

​

9. Kit & Course Inclusions

Where a course includes a student kit, the contents will be as stated in the course description at the time of booking.

​

Kit contents may occasionally be subject to availability. Learn with Lisa reserves the right to substitute an item with an equivalent professional product where necessary.

​

10. Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for understanding and following the techniques, health and safety guidance, product instructions and professional practices taught during their training.

Completing a course does not remove the student's responsibility to work safely, hygienically and within the scope of their qualifications.

​

Students are also responsible for obtaining any appropriate insurance, licensing, registration or additional requirements before offering treatments professionally.

​

11. Health & Safety

Students must inform Learn with Lisa before practical training of any relevant allergies, sensitivities, injuries or conditions that may affect their participation.

Learn with Lisa reserves the right to modify or restrict practical activities where there is a reasonable concern regarding health or safety.

​

12. Course Changes by Learn with Lisa

In exceptional circumstances, Learn with Lisa may need to change or reschedule a course date.

Where this occurs, reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible, and an alternative course date will be arranged.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a booking and paying the required deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Learn with Lisa training courses unless otherwise stated in writing.
